Work With Me

Counselling for women at any stage of motherhood

If you’ve found your way here, something in you may be feeling overwhelmed, unsettled, or simply tired of carrying things on your own.

You don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear explanation for what’s going on. Many women come to counselling feeling unsure, stretched, or like they’re not quite themselves anymore.

This space is here for you exactly as you are - offering you the time and space to feel heard, seen, understood and nurtured.

What counselling with me is like

Counselling with me is calm, gentle, and conversational.

I’m not here to rush you, analyse you, or tell you how you should be feeling. Instead, I offer a steady space where we can slow things down together and gently explore what’s been feeling heavy or hard to hold alone.

Many women tell me that what helps most is simply having a place where they feel:

  • less alone

  • emotionally supported

  • able to speak freely without judgement

  • understood without needing to explain everything perfectly

We move at your pace, one step at a time.

What you might be experiencing

You don’t need to identify with all of these — they are simply examples of what women often bring to counselling:

  • Feeling overwhelmed or emotionally stretched

  • Anxiety or persistent worry

  • A sense of loneliness in motherhood

  • Guilt about not coping “well enough”

  • Disconnection from yourself

  • Feeling different after birth or life changes

  • Old or new experiences being stirred by motherhood

  • A quiet sense that something doesn’t feel quite right anymore

Whatever brings you here is welcome.

Who this support is for

I support women at any stage of motherhood — including:

  • Women who are newly pregnant or new to motherhood

  • adjusting after birth or early parenting

  • navigating ongoing changes in motherhood over time

  • those who are experiencing a new emotional phase years into being a mother

Motherhood is not a single moment — it is an ongoing emotional and identity journey.

How I work

My approach is warm, steady, and relational.

I work alongside you rather than trying to “fix” or change you. Together, we create space for what you’re carrying, and gently begin to make sense of it in a way that feels safe and manageable.

I also support women who are holding grief alongside motherhood — whether related to birth experiences, unmet expectations, identity shifts, or changes that feel difficult to name.

I believe that most emotional struggles in motherhood are not signs of failure — they are understandable responses to change, pressure, and the depth of this role.

My role is to support you in feeling less alone in that experience.

Sessions & Fees

Sessions are $110.00 per 50–60 minute appointment.

Counselling is a space to slow things down and receive steady support as you navigate the emotional and identity changes of motherhood. Because of this, I find that sessions are most supportive when they are attended with some consistency, especially during more overwhelming or unsettled periods.

If cost is something you are thinking about, you are very welcome to mention this when you reach out. We can talk together about what feels manageable for you.I offer counselling sessions:

  • Online

  • In person on Wednesdays at the Pure Wonder Soul Studio in Geelong

Sessions are held in a calm, supportive space where you can bring whatever you’re feeling — even if it’s unclear or hard to name.

A gentle invitation

If this resonates with you, you are welcome to reach out.

I offer a free 15-minute consultation, which is a simple, no-pressure space to connect and see whether working together feels right for you.

There is no expectation — just an opportunity to take a first small step.

You don’t have to do this alone.
